Halloween parties attract people wearing stage costumes. People have their own preferences in choosing the costumes but they usually go by the costumes they see various characters wearing in the theatre or in films. The preference is always for superhero costumes. The wearers of these costumes think that at least till they remove these costumes they can give the impression of being superheroes. The opposite of superhero is super villian but not many people choose the costume. It is always superhero costumes only even though all departmental stores have stocks of super villian costumes also along with other costumes.
It is a mind game and the way of thinking when people go for superhero costumes. There is a change in choosing the superhero also. A Robin Hood was a hero to all people and his robes were worn as superhero costumes. There are so many heroes to choose from and choosing superhero costumes is not difficult. It is a matter of personal choice as to who is a superhero. It can be a historical character, a big scientist, a general, or a freedom fighter.
Spiderman is one such hero whose tight fitting dress has become one among superhero costumes. Other characters are the Batman, Superman, Phantom, Captain Marvel, and Zorro. At present superman outfit is the most favored among superhero costumes. Some people have tried using super villain costumes, without producing any effect in the party. Spiderman continues to be the favorite for the present. Wonder woman outfits are also available but no recent picture of wonder woman has been released.
Superhero costumes are chosen from Batman movies also. There is a batgirl also and ladies can dress up as batgirl also. A green lantern movie has been recently released and the superhero costumes may be adopted from this movie at new parties. The intention of all party goers is to make good impressions and attract the attention of other party goers. If the costume what they choose can help them, their purpose is served and the money they spend in purchasing the ones to be used costume may be worthwhile.
